Over the weekend, the fleet of more than 20 vessels from 10 different Sail Training Organisations set sail from Cowes Yacht Haven and races round the cans in the Solent. The organisations taking part are all youth charities or organisations specialising in youth development.

The Rona Siling project was represented by three vessels Rona II, Donald Searle and Merrilyn crewed by a total of 17 volunteers and 38 young people.
Donald Searle won line honours and first in Class C1 whist Rona II came second in Class C1 and won the honour of Best Dressed Crew.
Congratulations to all of our volunteers and crew and a massive thank you to the rest of the fleet for a great weekend.
The Cowes Small Ships Race is hosted by Gosport-based charity, ASTO (Association of Sail Training Organisations), with support from the Royal London Yacht Club and Royal Yacht Squadron, to whom we would like to extend our sincere gratitude.
